Widebody Aircraft

Definition

A large commercial aircraft with two aisles in the passenger cabin, typically used for long-haul international routes. Widebody types include Boeing 777, 787, 747 and Airbus A330, A350, A380. For time-critical logistics, widebody aircraft offer substantial belly cargo capacity (10-30 tonnes) and serve the longest non-stop routes. OBC couriers typically travel on widebody flights for intercontinental routes, as narrowbody aircraft have limited range and cargo capacity.
