Narrowbody Aircraft

Definition

A smaller commercial aircraft with a single aisle in the passenger cabin, typically used for short-to-medium-haul domestic and regional routes. Common narrowbody types include Boeing 737, Airbus A320 family, and Embraer E-Jets. Narrowbody aircraft have limited belly cargo capacity (1-3 tonnes) but offer higher flight frequency on regional routes. In time-critical logistics, narrowbody flights are used for regional OBC connections (e.g., PVG-NRT, FRA-LHR) where the shorter route makes a widebody unnecessary.
