A tier of air freight service that offers faster handling and transit than standard air cargo but without the dedicated courier of OBC or the guaranteed next-flight booking of NFO. Priority air freight typically receives expedited acceptance, priority loading, and expedited transfer at hub airports. Transit times range from 1-3 days depending on origin and destination. It is used for shipments that are urgent but do not justify the premium cost of OBC/NFO services — such as replenishment stock, non-critical spare parts, or seasonal inventory.
